On Monday, April 22, a grand jury issued a criminal indictment charging Nicholas J. Terilli of Pine Plains with the following new charges:
- Two counts of use of a child in a sexual performance, a Class C felony.
- Two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, a Class D felony.
- Two counts of possession of a sexual performance by a child, a Class E felony.
- Endangering the welfare of a child, a Class A misdemeanor.
On March 1, Terilli was charged with use of a child in a sexual performance, a Class C felony; possession of a sexual performance by a child, a Class E felony; and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.
On Feb. 25, troopers responded to Main Street in the town of Pine Plains for a domestic dispute, state police said.
During the incident investigation, child pornography was discovered, according to police.
Further investigation by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Child Advocacy Center of Dutchess County, and the Dutchess County District Attorney’s office led to the seizure of multiple storage devices containing child pornography.
